since dell charges an arm and a leg for extra ram, i decided to get the ram elsewhere. anybody use kingston sodimms before? i can get 512 mb pc-2100 sodimms at newegg for $119. i'm just wondering if there will be any compatibility issues?

Edit: this is the ram last one on the bottom.

I always recommend laptop memory from www.crucial.com . They don't have kingston, and it may be more expensive (haven't checked), but I think the peace of mind having a good product with a good warranty is worth it.

EDIT: crucial has 512MB modules for 129.99. They are more expensive than what you were looking at.

its still better than dell ripping me off. $100 to add to the system b4 i buy the laptop, and $135 after I buy the laptop. and thats for 256 mb NOT 512...!

i think i'll go with the crucial, and go with the lowest option for ram.
