Will office 97 run on Windows XP? Microsoft's official stance is that Office 97 has not been tested on Windows XP or 2000. Anyone use the 2 successfully?

Thanks.

Ive run Office 97 on Windows XP without any other problems than you expect from a Microsoft product :D
Although Access did on occasion lock up for no apparent reason

I'm running Office 97 without any problems but there was a compatibilty issues with the service packs.
With SP1 of XP or service packs of Office 97?

If I remember correctly, you can use Office SP1 if it is installed and you update to Windows XP. The conflicts occurs when you install Office SP1 after XP is installed. I haven't check on this since I switched to XP since I really don't use any of the features in Office SP1.
