Scanner

I have a scanner from a company that went out of bussnis. Is there software that just works with all scanners? I found one along time ago on download.com but as of latley I can find it anymore, and the ones I do find don't work. Any idea? thanks

What type of scanner do you have? I've got access to some old scanner drivers. Otherwise what I think you realy need is the "TWAIN" driver. Not realy sure whta twain stands for but seems to be essential for any type of scanning or photo inputs to a computer.

Do you use Windows XP. Normally the native windows drivers will work sufficiently.
