Hello, I'm having a problem with linux using 2.5GB of ram. Linux does not detect it, it seems to be capping out at 883MB. I think is should be able to detect the memory. I tried doing mem=2560 (is some measurement needed like mb or kb?) on grub, simply crashed when uncompressing the kernel. I have no idea what is wrong.

try setting high amounts of memory on (its not called that)

but its in the kernel config im pretty sure

Ok thanks, I was kind of wondering about the High Memory in the kernel.

EDIT: I got it to work, thanks for your help!
