Burning WMV to DVD

I madea video for my girlfriends 3 year aniversery and am wondering (hoping) if i can burn the WMV to a DVD without having to convert it...

I assume you want to be able to play the DVD on a standalone DVD player, right?

If so, you will have to convert it, maybe the burning program you're using is able to do that but I suggest you use TMPGEnc as most burning programs are very slow, and the quality might vary (most likely (very) poor).
