I need a e commerce host site

Do you'll have any recommendations on a website that can handle credit card payments and transfer that amout to a central account?

Basically what i want to do is set up a place where people can go (around 500-1500 people in a 2 month period) and purchase tickets for an event I am helping to put on. I want them to be able to go to a website and purchase the tickets and we get notification they paid and the money is transfered to our account and then we authorize them to come to the event...

Anyone have any advice or suggestions on a host that can do that?
I am can code and have done many websites, but we need something up fast.

Pay Pal would be the easiest I think. Building a Yahoo Store for one event might be a pain but it would work well. I've heard good things about 2 Checkout.

I would look into 1&1 hosting for a free hosting package and they accept payment via PayPal. Fairly hassle free solution.
