It get's to the same spot when the computer is turned on and then it stops. I've removed and reinstalled at least five times and it dosn't help

I'm running version 4.00 on a p3 800 with windows 2000
also my cpu usage is a 100%

I hope someone can help me

You should use the -advmethods and -forceasm flags if you aren't using them already. -forceasm will force it to not check prior termination status. -advmethods will steer it to get gromacs work units all the time. It's a P3, so it'll use SSE by default.

I'd delete the work folder, the Fahcore78.exe, and the queue.dat so it gets a new wu if you haven't already tried that.

I've got an A7N8X with an 1800+ that will never get passed the inital benchmark, no matter what the CPu is clocked at. It's win2k installed on a tiny 2GB hard drive. What I had to do to get that box folding, is run this- http://overclockix.octeams.com

It simply would not run F@H in windows.

I had the flags running for the longest time with the old client with out a problem. It wasn't till I changed to the new 4.0 that the problems started

I'm sure someone can give you the old client if you ask, just to see if it'll work for you. Stanford has not pulled support for it or anyhting like that.
