I was once skeptical much like you are right now.

its COMPLETELY safe so long as you use the correct version. Make sure you get it off the mobo manufacturers website.

I've used it quite a bit myself, with no problems. Abit wouldn't make flashing so easy if it wasn't safe, I don't think.

Flashmenu is the best thing since applepie. Completely safe and very easy to use.

so it completely does it under windows, no restarts needed?
then what if my bios update goes wrong and my computer does not boot? How can i get it back to the old bios?

i have never updated my bios and i am VERY VERY SCARED about doing this. Like SewerBeing said
I do not have the money to get a new one

or the time to fix it if it goes bad.

As long as you use the right BIOS version it's completly safe.

i thought that it auto found the right bios version for you?

edit
i would want bios 23 for v2, right?

box 2 in sig.

The easiest way for me to use flashmenu is to d/l the bios file and save the bin file somewhere easy to find, like your desktop.
Then open flashmenu and flash from file. Reboot once it's done.
