I did very little research on the subject and it got me interested and i would love to make a system for it sometime in the near future. But i have acouple of questions if you guys dont mind answering.

1.) on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the easy, how hard is it to set one up properly?

2.) what is the average price on a normal setup? whats the cheapest that it can be done with, etc.

3.) on a cheap setup, about what temps are we looking at.

4.) and how long with the cooling last? do i have to keep refilling or w/e.

1) First time u set one up, about 6. Second time, 5. Third time, 4... more u do it easier it gets... I can do a full CPU swap out and sealing string change on me prommi within 5 minutes now... and guaranteed get it right first time every time. S'just a matter of practice.

2) Depends... u talking building your own phasechange? If that's the case it's not so much cost that's the limiting factor but your own knowledge, access to the specialists tools and gauges, and access to the refrigerant. Cheapest and easiest way is to pick up a 2ndhand Prommie MkI

3) Evap temp in the -30s, CPU temp in the 10s under the socket, in the -15s on the core itself (Mobo readings can't be relied on)

4) A good 20 years or so, by which time newer and better things will be available so lifespan above 5yrs becomes irrelevant...
