how do you save something to a database

I've been building one for a while on and off,

well actually I have 4 different ones on the go but anyway, what language are you using,
what sort of game
what Database are you using?

I would be interested. Give us some more details

***what language
***what type of game
***opensource or no
***free or no
***anything else that might be relevant

also, do you have somewhere to host this database?

sorry about that it was a late nighter, any way im using ASP, its an mmorpg , its an online game, free for now im not sure if ill change it, depends on how the game gets going

An mmorpg in asp will be pretty corny. You should use a client-side language.

there are about 100 000 mmorpgs in asp type languages,

PHP and Perl are the common languages used, and they are pretty fun

Wow. I've never even heard of anyone playing one. I can't imagine them being too much beyond something Zork-ish.

Even a MUD would be more fast-paced and exciting.
