When I click on a Icon to open a web page I get a little window lower left, (3 in x 3 in), instead of my normal window. How do I go back to normal. Running XP Pro

hmmmmm i was wondering the same thing
this is for IE 5, but i think it might also apply to IE 6

i know the IE window opens to the last size it was, but the link thing bugs me too.
i would recommend trying firefox, i hear its pretty nice

You can try maximizing the window, and then closing it while holding down CTRL (or CTRL+SHIFT). It sometimes works to get windows to memorize the "correct" window size.

I found the answer at Annoyances .org. I found this web site right here at O/C.
R click on I.E. go to properties,shortcut,run,change it to Max
It didn't work for me, running xp pro
