From the MSI site:

CPU
• Supports 64-bit AMD® Athlon™ 64 processor (Socket 754)
• Supports 3400+ or up

From Newegg:

  • Supported CPU: Socket 754 AMD Athlon64 Processors(Supports 3400+ or up)

Don't ask me why I felt obligated to poin that out...

Anyway, it's a good thing MSI is making SUCH a versatile board that it can handle S754 processors -- only 3400+ though, cause the others are 4 newbs -- AND S939 processors.

the board is socket 754. so it supports the following 64's: 2800+ 3000+ 3200+ 3400+

tom's hardware actually used a 3200+ in its review of the board

This is what you probably meant to post. This is the link that shows the supported CPUs for the Neo Platinum, you should a link to the K8T Neo-FIS2R. (Not trying to step on any toes)

Yes it was the link I was meaning :bang head I usually double check my links must have slipped my mind. Thanks for the catch

I think there is another typo too:

"Live BIOS/ Liver Driver Update"

Looks like my new board has human organs! Do you think that will help with overclocking?

:p
