Im changing my motherboard can i keep my data?

i have a dual boot system, xp on one 120gig hard drive, and linux on an 80 gig hard drive. the chipsets in both motherboards are the same, so im hoping i dont have to do a clean install of both OS's. but if i do, what are some backup programs that i could use?

You might not have to, but I would. For XP you could just do a repair install, and I think that with Linux you could just do an upgrade install, but you may need to do a reformat.
