how well will these work for seti

i found these on another forum and was wondering how well these would be for seti,I thought holy **** for 499$ what a deal...

Well if it includes only the case and motherboard, its just an ok deal, but if you add in the money for two 2xx opterons and a gig or 2 gigs of good speed REGISTERED ram, it WILL definitely be a lot more expensive. A Opteron 250 (best 2xx chip) is $825 and 1 gig of registered ECC @ 3200 speed is $269. So: 825 + 825 + 269 + 269 + 499 = 2687 which is a good price for a dual opteron but IS a lot of money.

Dual opterons in a SFF cube? Geez that's scary. How long does it run before meltdown?

i thought that after i posted,i remember how warm my dual 600 ran inside a small case.
