After 3 tries, I finally got gentoo working. I've gotta stop making stupid mistakes.

I'm posting this through lynx while X emerges. There's just something so cool about it being called "emerge"

I'm hooked on gentoo now... Haven't done anything serious with it yet, but I'm still hooked on the coolness factor alone ^__^
 
Dude. Hork lynx and get links. Links is loads easier to use IMO. Anyways. Make sure you're reading the docs for installing KDE or Gnome as it can be pretty tricky there in Gentoo.

There's also one called Openbox that I was interested in looking at, but Gentoo doesn't seem to have documentation for installing that, though there is a portage package for it.
