i think my 9800 pro is garbage...

well i have both an 9800 and a 9800 pro bba. both have Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer rev3. my 9800 is fine when i oc and play games. but my 9800 pro overheats even when its at stock speeds when i play doom3 after ~20mins. on my other comp i tried the card and ran it on 3dmark 2001 at stock and it gave atifacts right when it started. i reseated the cooler but didnt help. any ideas? thx

did you just get it recently?

if it still gets artifacts at stock speed then it might be a bad card, so you should just rma it.

I agree, sounds like a bad card.

what's your power supply??? My 6800GT gave me massive artifacts even though 9800pro worked flawlessly.After changing from altec power control to fulton fixed the problem.
