Ummm, better at what? There are advantages and disadvantages in both.

The biggest drawback to the Prescott (3.0E) is heat. Check out this article:

The latest 3C overclocks very well and if you can cool the prescott it would overlock a bit better depending on your cooling.....like batboy mentioned earlier..


If it were me, I'd go for the 3C.....

I would go with the 3c, but I don't have much experience with the e models. The c's are fairly cool in my experience and seem to do well. But I have also heard good things about the e's if you have plenty of good strong cooling.

I had a chance to try both CPUs and in the end I chose a 3.0C. Less troubles when overclocking.
