monitor for gaming.

im about ready to buy a monitor for gaming and i do a lot of traveling.. i was wondering which LCD monitor would be best, i want a 17" LCD and i dont have a huge budget...

whats the best deal on LCD's for gamers is pretty much my question!

Samsung SyncMaster 712N would be the best for the money right now. 600:1 Contrast Ratio, 24Bit colour, 12ms response time...its perfect. Right now they are the top sellers at any retail vendor. You will find them around $400.00 but usually under with a mail in rebate.

I have this monitor and it is flawless. No complaints here.....
