Well you should only do it if your system is already having problems. Manufactures come out with new BIOS's all the time to support new hardware and to fix problems that the board may have. So if you are not having any troubles then don't worry about it. You can go to the manufactures web site and go to the BIOS section and there will be an explanation under each BIOS update for what the new BIOS fixes.
