I've been overclocking my OCZ EL PC3200 Rev 2 RAM with timings of 2.5-3-3-5, and i am able to make my 3200+ Winchester stable at 2.5Ghz with 1.55v to the core. Whenever i try and go higher, upping the volts to even 1.6 or 1.62 doesnt help, and I am seeing people with RAM timings of 2.5-3-3-7 and the such. Would it help to loosen that timing to get the extra mhz out of my cpu?

What better way is there than trying to loosen your timings and see?

(It should.)
