66.81 and 66.93 both are good driver for 6800 series... :>

66.93's sucks sorry, they artifact even when not oced. Look how many people complained on guru3d.com

I used 66.93 for a week, it worked fine just like 66.81..
But I am using 66.83 now.. waiting for 7*.**

I personally like the 66.81 driver the best because it is the best driver to use with rivatuner and I like to overclock. Just make sure that you uninstall and clean out your old driver registry entries when you switch. :santa2:

Ok so i am using beta 6693 driver
should i just use whql drivers on the nvdia website?

i think you should go with these drivers: http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_downloads_winxp_2k_67.02.html

they fix some shimmering problem with the 6800s. I dont know the details to the problem but i know they fix it. They are betas though.

Guru's got a 67.20 avaible now. Just downloaded yesterday and haven't had a chance to load yet.

nothing new in those for the desktop video cards. Those have upgrades for the mobile laptop video cards.
