Abit VA6 Bios gone bad

I picked up a really cheap VA6 with a supposed bad flash bios.

I've read through all the manuals and searched the net.

Anyone have any tips on what I could do to either fix it/find another Flash chip.

ps. I have yet to test this board.

Try to find an ISA video card preferably with a floppy controller. If the bios flash went bad, it will allow ISA video so you can re-flash it.

i would mail you my extra BIOS ROM....
but i am already doing that for someone else.

Do you have another motherboard? or a friend that trusts you?
As a hot flash can do wonders at fixing bad bios.

Thats a wonderful idea. I totally forgot about trying that.
