Does anyone have any recommendations for self-adjusting/variable speed 92mm fans that will go from near silent to medium-ish loudness? This is for use on a heatsink. :)

look into these makers:

panflo
delta
vantec

all of these have decent selections, and are the ones that can give the most CFM's and often with less DBa than others on the market.

I don't know if any of the above mentioned have built in speed adjustments, but i know Enermax has them in 80, 92 and 120mm versions.... used the 92mm version before and it's ok for pressure - pretty quiet at max speed of supposedly 58 or something like that cfm.... although a blue led fan that i also had pushing 48 cfm was giving me the same temps as the enermax.... Arctic cooling has some too but their cfm ratings are kind of low for cpu hs...
