They are the exact same PSU - the odd rating is meant to indicate that the 12v and 5v rails share power on this unit. If you look at the 5v rating, it also has dual numbers. What this means is that when the PSU has little 5v load on it, it can reach up to 28A on the 12v. Conversely, if there is a low 12v load on it, the PSU can do 44A on the 5v.

This was one of the reasons I got mine - my board runs the CPU from the 5v rail, and I wanted to upgrade to Athlon 64 without having to replace my PSU again.
