Does increasing the size of the monitor make the GPU work harder?
Will a newer monitor with better resolution and higher refresh rate improve OC?

Increasing monitor size, no. Increasing resolution (so that you're not running 800x600 on a 21" monitor :D), yes. In 2D (the desktop) it dosen't significantly increase the work done since a GPU can do 2D no sweat. In 3D (games) it may make it work quite a bit harder depending on just what kind of options like AA and stuff you have enabled. As for helping out OCs, getting a new monitor can't do that.
