Hinges on case slide panel?

Has anyone here attempted putting hinges on the case slide panel? If so how did you go about it? Any suggestions?

That would be pretty simple.
1. Purchase two spring-assisted concealed hinges from a hardware store
2. Cut the locking teeth off of the side panel
3. Mask off the areas where you plan to mount the hinges on both the case and side panel
4. Accurately drill the mounting holes for the hinges
5. Mount the hinges with short bolts or rivets

EASY mod , and looks great if done right . Screwed the pooch on the first one I did . Measure twice , cut ( or drill ) once . heh
