ASUS A8V-E vs nForce4 board

I want a board with PCI-e and 939 Chipset. I was looking to get an vForce4 board, but can't find any that I like, or that don't have SLI. Is the A8V-E pretty good even with its VIA chipset. How does it compare to the vForce4?

So what exactally are you looking for besides a non-sli board?

<btw the via might be ok, but it may not have a PCI lock>

IDE and SATA, 4 ram slots, audio, firewire
