Ok, here's the issue that's had me baffled for the last couple of weeks.
I have the Netgear Double 108 wireless router and the accompanying WG511T wireless card for my laptop. I let the Netgear software control the connection and everything seems to connect perfectly fine (i.e. 98% signal strength,) but I can't get out to browse the internet.
I've tried the Zero Config option already hoping that could be the problem, but no luck. The wired connection works perfectly btw, so...
Any ideas (yes I've searched ;) )

Laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1100 with WinXP Home and SP2.

Ok, now that's very odd.
Went into Firefox to check the proxy settings, already set to "Direct Connection to Internet" so I unplugged the Cat5 cable, plugged in the wireless card and viola! it works <scratches head in confusion>
