AMD 64 are able to run both 64 and 32 bit operating systems. There is not much difference as far as the shell is concerned, it apears like windows xp does. The problem with windows 64 is that it is hard to find the hardware drivers. I couldn't find a RAID sata driver for mine. Some people have claimed a significant increase in performance, but most people only notice a tad increase with win64. Win64 is a beta version, so bugs and crashes are possible.
