which soundcard to get?

im looking for a new soundcard. currently im using an old santa cruz and its horrible .. i sold my sb 4 pro cuz i needed the money .. that card was just badass .. i mean sound was so clear and crisp .. now with the turtle beach i have to crank the volume way up to hear anything on my speakers ..

is the sb 2 zs plat pro sound as good ?? hardware wise are the 2 and 4 the same ?

anything else u guys recommend

You can get some prety good deals on the Audigy2 and it's my understanding that the 4 was only am incremental improvement. Good luck.

well ive seen the audigy 2 zs platinum for like 199 with a 70 dollars MIR from bestbuy ..

the platinum pro is like 249 ?

but the audigy 4pro is 241 after rebate from newegg
