Getting BIOS 1004+ for A8N SLI mobo

I am using the ASUS bios updater and can only find version 1003 on this tool. Can someone help me find the newer versions with this utility?

I just searched the ASUS site and the newest beta release was january 2005....and that is ver. 1002

Not sure where you looked on the asus site, but the latest release is 1006, latest beta is 1007-002. You can find them here: http://usa.asus.com/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=A8N-SLI Deluxe&Type=All

One other point dont do it automatically, use the update from file option.

Yeah if I try the update from net it never finds any BIOS plus what if your net dies when flashing and ASUS didnt program that util the best....
