Trying to defrag my drive. After going through the motions I checked and it told me drive needs to be defragged. I have done this more than once with the same results

can you post a screenshot of the defrag. is your drive at > than 85% its capacity. to defrag efficiently, you need at least 15% free space.

Try DisKeeper Lite .... this is an older version of DisKeeper but its free and does not expire . Should do the trick . LINKY

and ..... :welcome: to the forums !!!

After awhile windows defrag can only fix so much. So if its fragmented to that point then you will not be able to unfrag it. Unless you use a better app, try that program above it should help.

I use diskeeper and its great... never again will i use windows defragger :D

Does so much of a more efficant defrag, plus its faster IMO too.
