LCD Settings

Ive got an Acer AL1914 with a BFG 6600 gt oc and I was wondering how can I set my screen/video card to get a better picture? Ive already used nvidia tunning wizard and really didnt like it, DisplayMate demo I personally think is garbage is there anything else out there or can I get some tips??

on yor nvidia settings make sure your diagonal line is straight in the area you set that,im at work and dont know exactly which setting it is then use the controls of your lcd to adjust brightness,contrast and rgb levels that look good to you.sorry if that dont help,at work and im using my brain as a reference,not allways the best choice,
