Apparently shorturl has a small link back bar now at the bottom of the page but its not that bad (take a look at the example here ).

i use dyndns.org, and when i had my site with a domain and everytihng, i used them for that as well, mainly because my router has the built in capability to automatically update the ip.

I think those of us who have used no-ip for some years now will show the no-ip.com name and not the ip address and not have to pay.
