Temp Question

My computer runs at from 40C at the low end and 51C on the high end.
Are these temps ok? Or too high?

For a P3 or P4?

Not for certain what temps on the P4s run, but that's too high for a P3.

For a P3 you want 40C to be your highest temp under load. That can stretch to 42-43C but could begin to hinder overclocking results.

I'm using a P4 1.7 478 socket
