Gigabyte K8NS Ultra-939 And Microsoft SP2

I am wondering if anyone else is having problems installing service pack 2 with this board. I have re-installed twice with fresh installs and boot into a blank screen after SP2 install almost as if no drivers are loaded. On a positive side I finally got to try using a restore point (normally I turn it off) and it worked like a charm.

Never had a problem when I had the board. Why don't you do a fresh install with SP2 slipstreamed? It may avoid your problems.

nope built 3 systems with that board and had no probs

Thanks for the quick replys. I'm going to try the auto streamer method as soon as it finishes.
update
I used autostreamer to make a merged CD. But ran into some problems merging SP2. I will look into it more though.

I was able to get SP2 installed after I downloaded SP2 onto my hard drive for autostreamer. Instead of going to windows update sight and doing the auto update.

either way i did it...

clean install than sp2 in windows or clean install + slipstreamed sp2 i had no problem on either of the installs.. might be a windows problem not a board problem.
