do all memorex drives have problems or did i get luck?

ok i got 2 of these a while back, memorex dual layer 16x16 if your to lazy to click the link, anywho, both are having the same problems, in 2 diffrent PCs, i cant install CoD on one, and the other will install but it wont play(gets to main screen but i cant start a new game), also i have trouble playing video from multi session disks(for u musicians, guitar world magizine CD ROM), i believe the videos are MPEG, and they get cought in "loops" where they just spin up and down untill i hit the eject button at the right time. Are all Memorex drives like this, or did i get lucky?

Tried an RMA?

I had a 12x8x32 (I think) CDRW 4 years ago and it was fantastic. Haven't used their newer kit.
