Airport help needed

Hello Guys I have a old iBook which i bought off a freind. Any ways i recetly found out how to install panter on it and i did. now the laptop runs fine but the problem is i cant get airport to work. the Ethernet works fine. I even downloaded drivers when i try to install it says that there already drivers for this. i searched all over the hard disk and nothing. can any one help me.
