Adware? Virus?

It started with a lot of pop ups. Now I can't even go to a website without it redirecting it to searchclickads.com I ran Spybot, Adware 6, and Kaspersky and deleted hundreds of stuff. But it can't get rid of it. I don't want to reformat the pc yet. Is there another way?

Ive been through a similair problem lately. I followed a lot of guides and used a ton of programs. Spent many hours trying to clean up the computer. It is so much easier to just save whatever you need onto a cd/dvd or extra drive and reformat your hdd and install windows again. trust me.

vio1 has a good point. sometimes a FFR is just what is needed, it doesn't take that long to backup and restore files and reinstall programs.
