"Abit AN8 Ultra v1.0 crashing (BSOD's etc. and freezing)...what's going on???"

My Abit AN8 Ultra v1.0 repeatedly crashes.

Firstly my specs:
Abin AN8 Ultra v1.0 w/ BIOS rev. 19
Venice 3200+
256Mb X800 Vanilla (PCIe)
Onboard SoundMAX 7.1 audio
1Gb (2x512Mb) Hynix DDR Ram in Slots 1&3 (I think)
WD 250Gb SATA2 Hdd
Antec 550W TruePower 2.0 PSU
Pioneer DVR-110
Samsung 16x DVD-ROM
Floppy

What are some suggestions to stop this from happening?

Try memory command at 2T rather than 1T?
Should I increase voltage above default specs to the CPU, RAM, NB etc.
I think all components are running fine (temp. wise)
PSU is giving out stable voltage rails (according to mobo)

So why is it unstable and what are some suggestions as to fixing the problem (I'll try ANY solutions)

Also how do I determine if it is a hardware or software problem??? I think it's hardware because I've heard numerous times that A64 setups can be rather finiky

Thanks in advance,
KellyK

Turn CPC (Command Per Clock) off. This board has problems with 2x512MB sticks running 1T.

kk thanks for the suggestions

how would i go about turning CPC off? is that by setting mem command rate to 2T..if so i've already done that and no dice it still keeps crashing

is still crashing

should i try giving additional voltage to cpu, chipset, mem etc even though this system wont be OCed
