Suggestions on how to remove the Scythe Ninja backing plate.

Well I recnetly ordered parts for a new computer build however much to my dismay I found out the board I ordered is dead. However, I made the mistake of mounting the ninja before succesfully getting the computer up and running. Now, I am RMAing the board and need to remove the backing plate with out destroying the board.

Any suggestions?
