I want to build gaming machine for under or around $400. Can anyone suggest some ideas?

I am building this pc for someone and he wants to play games like DOOM 3 which is the large end of the scale, but also games like gunbound.
440 not including shipping
REally really hard to get that price, but i think he could get 30-40fps at 1024 res in doom with the x700. If you could get another 100 dollars into the system to make it s939 w/ a 3200+ venice t hat would perform better probably.

Looks pretty good, the 1GB of ram would be helpful, and that X700 is a great choice. Great build Airpizza.
