I just installed my first AMD x2 system on the Ultra-D, and I noticed there is a 12V power plug on the mb. Do i have to plug the power into that?

See picture here.

It's the plug with red circle around it.

Thanks

DFI suggests using all of the power headders on the motherboard for optimum stablity. I do not use that or the floppy power plug, as its mostly for SLI, but every board + chip will react differently.

not the floppy plug. as to the molex.... i cant say for sure, some people sware by them others see no difference. I saw no difference.

I started my system up for the first time with neither the molex or the floppy power plugged in and when I realised and plugged both in, I didn't notice a difference.
