I had typed about my MCW6002-A and how it has 1/8 and 1/16 inch gaps in the solder on the base. I have emailed michelle and asked if I could get an RMA, for this block because I have not used it yet. Her response was :

Swiftech's Michelle said:
Hello James,

These “gaps” are normal on that waterblock. Unfortunately, we cannot issue an RMA for you.

Regards,

Michelle

Have other users experienced their waterblocks with holes in their soldering? Is it really as widespread as she says?

I have and have had several of the 6000 series blocks and most seem to have some gaps in the solder. Leak test it for a day or two and if it doesn't leak then use it. If it does leak then you have grounds for an RMA.
