Bluetooth Headset Static

I have a Logitech bluetooth headset pairing with a Linksys bluetooth dongle. Every once in a while the headset will playback sound ok, but record heavy loud static. I use the headset for skype so people on the other end are like and hang up. It also happens jsut using windows sound recorder. If I disconnect and reconnect the headset it usually goes away. Anyone ever have this problem or know of anything I could try to fix it.
