HashClash

I just started a HashClash team. It's boinc based, so extremely easy to set up.

Our stats page.

So far I only have a 1.1ghz athlon crunching away on this. I'll tyr to get some more rigs up for this and the rest of our projects shortly. Hopefully it'll be in the vault before too long.

I'm not really sure how the rankings work. Total credit so far is 2.38 but the stats go by Average Credit apparently. That puts us at #122/231 teams.

*Edit: Added a 550mhz k6 and it put us up to #117(I think).

I just figured out you can check stats by "total credit" or "recent credit." I'm sure the vault goes by total credit. That puts us a 201/231 so far. I'm thinking this shouldn't be too hard to fly through though.

What are they trying to accomplish? Does it try to exploit the MD5 for good reasons? Does it use all idle processes like folding?

I have no idea. It's using 99% cpu, that's about all I know about it.

I just re-submitted this to the vault and it has been added, but no ranking yet, I guess until the next update.

*Edit: We're at 165 I think. Not bad from #240 when it started.
