Phillips 30" HDTV, rear projection $500?

I'm looking at this HDTV, http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4810693

It's probably been hashed a lot of times.

I'm just tired of multiplayer on my 21" monitor, even if it is HD I can't see anything sitting far back. What do ya'll think?

Your planning on using this as a computer monitor?

No no, for my Xbox360. My monitor is fine for gaming singleplayer. But when friend come over it's kinda crowded around the 21" screen.

I'm gonna threadjack my own thread.... When is the HTPC section coming???

But seriously, I'm really looking for a nice HDTV for less than 700...

the egg doesnt that specific one that your looking for but they have many tvs just look on their hot deals for monitors every once in a while and you'll find a really nice one for the price.

Bah. I've just been reading reviews on the TV, apparently it only does 480p upscaled to 720. Not the best of choices.
