XP-90c for AM2

I have a spare lapped XP-90c I'm hoping to use on my upcoming AM2 setup.

I just want to know if it's as good of a cooler for an AM2 X2 as it was for
previous gen Athlon64 processors.

There's an adapter that will let me use it on an AM2 socket.

i would assume it would do just as well on am2 as they a basically the same as 939 cpu's just with a diff mem controller for ddr2

AM2 mounts differently not sure if xp=90 will fit unless u get an adaptor as in Thermalright XP-90 + new AM2 adapter
