Hi all, was wondering if someone can give me a lead on where to go to look for some more information on this. In VB 6 people could use .dsr to design reports to be printed. I was wondering how one would go about doing something similar in VB.NET or convert an existing .dsr to work in .NET

From what I understand, VB.NET does not support .dsr

Any comments or suggestion would be appreciated.

While I am somewhat intermediate in the concepts of VB6 to .NET, I'm not sure if I can correctly answer your question. I believe though, that VB.NET 02 and later uses Crystal Reports for such things, though I could be mistaken.

Personally I use custom SQL queries and output it in HTML. I've always found that to be the easiest way to do it. Crystal Reports can be a serious B**** to use sometimes.

Granted this is in VB6... I really need to learn .net...
