Accessing causes SHUTDOWN

when i access my data drivemy system freezes then restarts. It acually accesses it for like 5 seconds....then ?

Can you run a chkdsk on it? Are there any errors in the System Event Viewer? Sounds like a driver issue or a corrupted drive.

nope, but whats really weird when i explore the drive I see the directory files, like when i click the Music folder i see the music files, but when i actually play one it shuts down, i tried different power connectors Im out of idea's.
